A camera is a small act of authorship
Who We are !
The Rohingya Photographic Society is a collective organization led by Rohingya photographers, storytellers, artists, documentary filmmakers, and content creators. Our diverse membership includes men and women living in the refugee camps of Bangladesh, within Myanmar, and across the global diaspora.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple yet vital: to connect the world to the stories that matter. With over 1.2 million Rohingya refugees residing in Bangladesh alone, and countless others displaced worldwide, we are dedicated to bringing the authentic, individual stories of the Rohingya people to the global stage.
Our Vision
Through the power of visual storytelling, we aim to ensure that the Rohingya crisis remains in the global consciousness. We share our narratives so that the international community never forgets our people, recognizes our humanity, and continues to stand with us in solidarity.
