The Rohingya Photographic Society believes that access to knowledge and creative opportunities can help strengthen new generations of visual storytellers.
Our workshops bring photographers and creators together to learn, exchange experiences, practice new skills, and explore meaningful ways to tell stories through photography.
What We Learn
WORKSHOP TOPICS
Learn about composition, lighting, framing, and using available cameras or mobile devices.
Explore how photographs can communicate experiences, emotions, and meaningful stories.
Learn the principles of documenting real events, people, and communities responsibly.
Develop basic skills for selecting, organizing, and responsibly editing photographs.
Understand dignity, consent, privacy, safety, and responsible photography.
Encourage creators to develop their own ideas, perspectives, and visual voice.

Supporting the Next Generation of Creators
Beyond workshops, we encourage emerging photographers and storytellers to learn from one another. Through mentoring, guidance, and shared experiences, we aim to support young Rohingya creators as they develop their skills and confidence.
